Wilder Technologies Releases Remote Device Monitoring Solution

Wilder Technologies announces the release of DealerDirect, a software solution that automates and simplifies remote monitoring of printers, copiers and MFP’s.

“DealerDirect provides dealers with multiple advantages over other products in the market today,” said Brett Adler, CEO. “We do not charge monthly service fees and our program does not require any additional hardware to be installed at the customer’s site. DealerDirect can be installed on existing PCs within a customer’s firewall. The data collected by DealerDirect is stored locally at the dealer’s site, not ours. In addition, dealers can create customized reports using standard reporting tools, such as Microsoft Access and Crystal Reports.”

DealerDirect automatically discovers all supported devices on a company’s network. Meter counts, consumables status and service codes are silently collected and transmitted directly to the dealer on a scheduled basis. Dealers can create custom reports and alerts to meet their individual needs and to support cost-per-copy programs.

DealerDirect provides many benefits to dealers. Labor costs are decreased by reducing the need to call or visit customer sites. Profits are increased by reducing device down time and eliminating the need to overstock supplies. Customer service is improved by providing proactive supplies fulfillment and service, rather than reactive, as well as not requiring the customer to provide dealers with the meter reads. And DealerDirect helps dealers compete against other suppliers and the device manufacturers, who are using their technology and placement advantages to circumvent dealers and sell supplies directly to customers.
