Xerox named the top network color printer vendor by VARBusiness magazine

For the third consecutive year, Xerox Corporation has been named the top network color printer vendor in CMP Media's VARBusiness magazine, an industry publication for value-added resellers who market high-technology products, solutions and services.

Xerox was selected as the best overall network color printer vendor, sweeping all subcategories including product innovation, support and partnership.


"The VARBusiness Annual Report Card is the industry-defining research on vendor/partner relationships," said editorial director Robert C. DeMarzo. "It is a significant benchmark because the winners are selected by their own customers."


The VARBusiness ARC Awards recognize outstanding partner programs in 18 product and service categories from desktops to Internet application server software. Winners are selected based on the survey results of more than 5,000 solution providers. Those surveyed were asked to rate their partners on product innovation, support and partnership.

Xerox was honored at an awards ceremony yesterday at the XChange '04 Conference in Chicago, a gathering of channel and partner professionals.Xerox provides a range of programs and tools designed to help independent resellers worldwide grow their business with Xerox color and black-and-white network printers and multifunction products. In addition, Xerox offers the Peak Alliance Program for resellers who target the small- to medium-sized business segment. It provides them with tools and incentives including quarterly rebates based on sales volume, additional incentives through value-added activities, Web-based training, access to marketing development funds, and marketing support programs.

"The feedback reflected in this award is proof that Xerox continues to provide the best color technology and support in today's market," said Emerson U. Fullwood, president, Xerox Channels Group. "The quality of our printing products and the quality of the support we offer to our channel partners is a winning combination."

Resellers are the primary sales channel for Xerox office printers, with about 8,000 resellers in North America.
