Xerox Partners With Charitable Foundation to Help Customers Make Donations of Pre-owned Printers
Xerox Corporation and the National Cristina Foundation (NCF), a nationwide not-for-profit charity, have teamed up to facilitate the donation of pre-owned printers from Xerox customers to people with disabilities, students-at-risk, economically disadvantaged individuals and job training programs in the United States and Canada.
Xerox is the first printer vendor to work with NCF in such a capacity. The donation of pre-owned Xerox color and black-and-white network printers will help provide advanced printing capabilities and training opportunities for people with special needs.
Xerox will promote its affiliation with NCF through various customer communications programs and will provide a link from the Xerox office printer Web site to NCF's online donation form. Customers can find the link and additional information regarding the NCF program at www.xerox.com/officeprinting/donate.
Co-founded by Dr. Yvette Marrin and Dr. Bruce McMahan in 1981, NCF has bridged the gap between corporations and community organizations that train people with special needs, without charging a fee for its work or technology that is distributed. For more information, please visit www.cristina.org.
