Xerox Supplies VP to Keynote Toners & Photoreceptors 2000

The 18th Annual Seminar Slated For June 10-13, 2001 in Santa Barbara, California, will have Alan R. Efron, Vice President, Xerox Supplies Group, deliver the Keynote Address at this year’s international meeting of toner and photoreceptor manufacturers in Santa Barbara. Efron is responsible for strategy and product development for the document supplies business. He also manages the marketing of Xerox’s entire supplies portfolio, a wide array of products—paper, specialty media, toners, inks and cartridges—sold through direct and indirect channels.
A staunch advocate of intellectual property protection, Efron is also Chairman of the Imaging Supplies Coalition an organization fighting theft and misuse of intellectual property and counterfeiting of products in the imaging supplies industry.
Efron will be joined on the Program by a panel of Speakers drawn from all facets of the toner and photoreceptor industry. Among the sessions planned are reviews of market size, growth and outlook both in the OEM and aftermarket sectors. Technical talks will include advances in toner powder grinding and finishing, toner resins, special carbon blacks, compounding color toners, and digital-printing technologies in the next decade and new OPCs for color imaging.
This year’s event will bring imaging materials executives back to Santa Barbara for three-and-a-half days of intensive tutorials, marketing and technical discussions, and one of the industry’s finest networking programs. Toner and photoreceptor manufacturing and marketing executives, scientists, raw material suppliers, distributors, dealers and customers will rendezvous at Fess Parker’s DoubleTree Resort.
Many attendees will make their business deals on the beach, on the golf course, or at one of this coastal city’s fine restaurants, said Art Diamond, President of Diamond Research Corporation (DRC), producer of this international event. Diamond added, “Mr. Efron’s remarks will be closely monitored as Xerox is far and away the world’s largest toner producer and a leading directional force in that industry. The company has domestic toner manufacturing operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Webster, New York, and foreign plants in England, Ireland, Spain, The Netherlands, Brazil and Japan (in conjunction with Fuji-Xerox). With the use of color exploding in business communications, in digital photography, in advertising and the graphic arts, Xerox is expected to leverage its color toner competence into future market growth, a path that the industry is sure to follow.”

In other DRC news, effective Monday, March 12, 2001 Diamond Research Corporation will relocate its offices to: 530 West Ojai Avenue, Suite 108 ¾ Ojai, California 93023-2471
Please update your records to reflect this change of address. All other DRC phone, fax, E-mail and website information will remain unchanged.
