Lexmark: Not everyone will want managed print services

Lexmark, faced with a mature printing market, is continuing its push of managed print services, but admits that the offering is not going to be for everyone. The vendor hoped for channel growth in March when it bought Kofax for $1 billion, and according to Brian Henderson, Lexmark's director of global channel marketing, the vendor's current focus is looking for new doors of opportunity for its partners.
