e2e Meetings, the recently established executive to executive tradeshow that links manufacturers and dealers together for one-on-one negotiations that lead to profitable partnerships, held their very successful debut in October, on the tropical island of Aruba.

Established as a premiere enterprise to help copier and printer dealers get face-to-face with key decision makers, leading OEMs, and suppliers to the channel not normally available in a setting conducive to networking, the e2e Meetings first, premier event partnered with the Copier Dealers Association (CDA.  Nearly 30 of the most prestigious group of copier and printer dealer/owners in the USA engaged in the opportunity for vendors to get up-close and personal in a friendly, stress free environment for pre-scheduled, productive meetings.

The new e2e Meetings, produced by Imaging Network, also founders of ITEX and imageSource magazine, developed the four-day networking event to put La Crosse Management Systems, GreatAmerica Leasing, Digital Gateway, Katun, SHARP, Panasonic, Customized Works, ESP, and Muratec with the REAL bottom-line decision makers from the Copier Dealers Association.

John Kuchta, owner of Solution One and president of the CDA said, “Thanks for launching this concept at the CDA annual conference.  It was a first class event and all of the participants’ remarks have been complimentary. Your vendors should follow up to maximize this concept...as well as ITEX.”

Along with planned social events, the primary focus of e2e Meetings was for manufacturers and dealers to review new items, marketing initiatives and strategic direction, “partnering up” in a relaxed atmosphere conducive to in depth discussions. What made the process work was the full cooperation of all participating dealers and manufacturers intending to do business while there. The participating vendors had committed a big investment of time and money in order to have the ability to meet specific dealers in a closed setting. The commitment consisted of 30-minute intervals that rotated dealers from one meeting space to another in order to meet each scheduled manufacturer. This uniquely created synergy was/is the key to making the e2e Meetings successful.

In addition, to help assure a smooth and efficient transition, each dealer and vendor were assigned a staff e2e employee (ambassador)that assisted in handling requests and directing them to scheduled  activities. This special support staff feature helped participants to maximize their time more efficiently. The bottom line purpose was to make sure the overall experience was both profitable and pleasant.

Marc Spring, president of Imaging Network remarked,"I really thank all of the CDA dealers and our e2e vendors for helping us run such a smooth and successful event, and at an unprecedented level. I have received numerous compliments from both vendors and dealers, and though I’m pleased people appreciated their VIP treatment, most important was that their investment for participation was recouped in their first scheduled meeting.”

The e2e Meetings of channel-specific events will be held throughout the year in order to  provide timely opportunities and efficiencies to the business processes.
