Take a Peek at This PDA for Sales Reps & Execs

If we really think about it, one of the first things business people do each day is to check their Inbox to their emails. Especially with our current cell phone technology, we can access needed information 24-7. But is there a cheaper, faster way to retrieve important business messages to and for sales reps, managers, service techs, the CEO on the go, than with full-service SmartPhone or BlackBerrys? Most dealerships, as well as their customers, rely on devices to provide optimum efficiency as well as garner loads of information, but when it comes down to it -- what company or product type meets their/our needs best?

Enter the Peek, a small, hand-held device for checking email on the go, faster and usually cheaper than a phone call. For execs that travel, this is a key tool, separate from a laptop, to pull up valuable information, but it’s far less obtrusive than a laptop and is easier, and less costly than a multi-programmed cell phone, convenient to take to a meetings or when selling a client in person.

The device is a way to be hard-wired (well, connected, anyway) to email, period. It doesn’t do anything else, is uncomplicated and the initial offering doesn’t allow for frills like webpage viewing or using hyperlinks. But that’s coming if you want it. This device is simply there for you to check your email; read it, answer it, save it, forward it, and/or delete it. Pretty much what most business people need email for. And it’s low-cost.

A dealership’s sales reps, along with other key managers, should be interested in devices that are portable, comfortable, affordable, available in three colors, and easy to use. It’s one of those intuitive, user-friendly devices for which a user manual isn’t normally required.

Best of all, Peek was named one of Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2008, confirming what we all know...affordable efficiency on the go is never out of style.
