Dealer resellers once grounded in delivering reliable hardware offerings and services have found that traditional capabilities barely open the door to winning a customer’s business. The environment has shifted and the office channel demands a transformation to being a consultative solutions provider who integrates offerings of hardware, software, and services to become the single source provider for their customers…the ultimate HYBRID DEALER.

Let’s break it down. A “hybrid” is the combination of two or more different things, aimed at achieving a particular objective or goal, i.e., the Hybrid Dealer cross-mixes and combines a variety of office technology and services to effectively transform their clients business and their dealership for optimum end results, achieving profitability.

ITEX, in its tenth year, is the annual cross-mixed office technology tradeshow and, you guessed it, intended for the evolution of the Hybrid Dealer. All the tools are there to engage dealers in changing or widening portfolios with the right mix that brings in profits. From peer led education and product innovations, to MPS know-how, or adopting wide format and mailing systems, finding profits in office supplies, document management solutions, IT and Service initiatives; the list goes on. Dealers, VARs and solution providers will find key information to readily enhance their business models, to succeed in the “new economy.”

As companies face the challenge of maintaining profit levels, it takes “morphing” into the Hybrid Dealer to secure market share while retaining existing customer business. Dealers will learn how, why and what at ITEX Power Hour classes and special MPS and Service forums. By adopting new strategies and implementing new methods, by adjusting to market demands and learning new benchmarks, dealers can get the advantages they need over their competitors. Networking on the show floor with a host of quality exhibitors, shopping pavilions that feature products meant to enlarge a dealer’s range of services,  and classes and forums geared to being the “total provider” –  the Hybrid Dealer - is the full menu dealers want to help change the course of business for the better.

ITEX has been called the single most focused and credible authority out there to provide the latest industry information to drive education and insight into the transitioning channels. The award winning convention’s founders, who additionally publish imageSource magazine, the industry’s leading publication for providers who manage document technology, keep their hands on the pulse of the market. They understand and explore new product technology, the advances in integrated workflow and document management solutions, learn what key reasons are behind growing the MPS platform and other advancing opportunities for providers, becoming the integral resource you can rely on to strategically grow your business. ITEX doesn’t miss a beat. In fact, they excel at providing the roadmap to the independent dealer who strives to grow and profit.
