Accepted File Formats TOP

imageSource uses a digital workflow and requires that all ad materials be submitted in a digital format. Supplied materials that do not comply with the following specifications will be corrected and the advertiser will be billed for any required production.

File Formats
Native Desktop Application Files (Quark, Illustrator, PhotoShop) or PDF (high-resolution only). If you are sending a full bleed PDF, please make sure that your document size includes the bleed. Please inquire about other formats. Macintosh files are preferred. If you are sending PC files please convert all fonts to outlines.

Ad Sizes
Magazine Spread Layout files should be set up as individual pages. All ads must be created to exact size specifications on the rate card or will incur charges for re-sizing.

Fonts
All native format files must be accompanied with screen and printer fonts. Macintosh fonts are required. Apple TrueType fonts are NOT to be used. If file was created using PC, all fonts must be converted to outlines.

Photos
All four-color scans must be 300 dpi in CMYK. All B/W scans must be 300 dpi grayscale.

Graphics
TIFF; EPS (for Illustrator and Freehand EPS files, fonts must accompany the file even if text has been converted to outlines); JPEG (charges may be added for images requiring conversion to TIFF or EPS).

Proofs
A color composite (proof) printed at 100% must be submitted with file.

Accepted Media
